India proposed air bubble to South Korea in July 2021; waiting for its response: Scindia

The Indian government had proposed an air bubble to the South Korean government in July last year and the Centre has been waiting for its response, Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Friday. Scheduled international passenger flights have been suspended in India since March 23, 2020 in view of the Covid pandemic.

However, special flights have been operating between India and around 40 countries since July 2020 on the basis of air bubble arrangements formed with them.

The Indian government is actively watching, engaging with countries and calibrating its approach in accordance with the global Covid-19 situation, he mentioned. "Needless to say, safety is our top priority," he noted.

Covid-19: UAE will not go back to full lockdown, says minister

The UAE will not go back to complete lockdown due to the Omicron or any other variant of the coronavirus, a minister said on Thursday.

"Omicron is way less impactful than Delta. Even during Delta, we hadn't locked down the country (because) balance has been there (between economy and health sectors). Even with futurist variants when it comes to coronavirus, we will not go back to a full lockdown of the country," said Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade.

The UAE had announced lockdowns and travel restrictions after the pandemic broke out in early 2020. But it was also the first country to reopen by applying strict safety and precautionary measures throughout the country.

The minister said 2021 was critical, encouraging, and positive for the economy, and 2022 has also started with a robust forecast.

"We celebrated our Golden Jubilee in 2021 and welcomed the world to Expo 2020. We showed the world that it can't continue with the lockdowns. We have to come back to norms ASAP, and balance between health and economy has to be ensured," Al Zeyoudi told Bloomberg in an interview on Thursday.

He said the communities could come back to norms quickly and cope with global challenges such as the pandemic.

"Thus, we made significant changes in our regulatory system and the way we are running the businesses. During the last few months, we announced 100 per cent foreign ownership, changed the workweek to match with the rest of the world, upgraded the employment laws to create more flexibility and showed our commitments that we are welcoming the world to the UAE," he said.

The minister said that in 2022, the UAE is standing on a solid foundation, and it will maintain a balance between economic and health aspects. "We are continuing Covid-19 testing on a daily basis and encourage people to take the vaccine booster."

The benefit of new workweek

Replying to a query about the new workweek introduced by the UAE this year, Al Zeyoudi assured that this would benefit the economy and give communities more time, which means more consumption over the long weekends.

Starting January 1, 2022, the UAE changed its working week from Sunday-Thursday to Monday to mid-Friday in line with the other markets around the world.

"We've started seeing positive feedback from the businesses because consumption has been picking up throughout the end of the week. We started opening up and relaxing things based on the best global practices, and the changing weekend is no different. It ensures that our system is linked to the global system."

Deals with India, Israel soon

The minister stated that e-commerce and real estate are among the top sectors attracting huge foreign direct investment from Europe, Australia and other countries.

Al Zeyoudi revealed that the government is also working on comprehensive partnership agreements with some countries.

"India deal is almost done and we are going to announce it soon. It is going to have a huge impact – more than 1.7per cent on the GDP over the coming 10 years, boosting trade and creating more jobs. Israel deal is going to be finalised in two months," he said, adding that since the signing of the Abraham Accord, trade has reached more than $1 billion and it's going to exceed $5 billion in three years.

The minister expects trade with Turkey will also triple as the two countries' economic committees met recently to chart out closer cooperation.

SAMSUNG TO LAUNCH MANY LOW-END 5G PHONES IN THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT YEAR

With the current travails of Huawei, Samsung has a huge ground to cover. If it can unveil some affordable 5G devices, it might just claim those grounds. According to reports, after the official release of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung will unveil a series of low-end 5G phones. This year, the only mid-to-low end 5G phone from Samsung is the Galaxy A51 5G. However, the South Korean manufacturer is currently preparing the likes of Galaxy A32, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A72. Unlike the latest high-end models, these mid-and low-end models will still retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy A32 recently passed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification. According to reports, this device will officially arrive next year. There are speculations that the price of this device is about 400,000 won ($364). Although it will be Samsung’s cheapest 5G model, it is not entirely cheap. The likes of Realme V3 5G cost about $150. This is the target price of 5G smartphones for Chinese manufacturers next year.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 will use a 6.5-inch display as well as a triple rear camera setup. This smartphone will also come with a side fingerprint sensor. The mid-range Samsung Galaxy A52 is expected to use a 6.5-inch display with four rear cameras and under-screen fingerprint recognition. The mid-to-high-end Samsung Galaxy A72 will use a 6.7-inch display with four or five rear cameras. There are speculations that the Galaxy A52 will have a 500,000 won ($455) price tag. However, the Samsung Galaxy A72 will sell for 600,000 won ($546).

Industry insiders predict that Samsung will launch a low- and medium-priced 5G phone with a multi-function camera when the Galaxy S21 arrive in January next year. The company will do this in order to seize the market gap left by the US sanctions on Huawei. If it succeeds, it will capture a larger share of the emerging market.

Nevertheless, it appears that the company is not preparing for a 5G phone under $350. This means that its devices are still pretty expensive, mid-range at best. If more $150 – $250 Chinese 5G phones hit the market in the first half of next year, Samsung may find itself struggling. The Korean manufacturer will have a better chance if the starting price of its upcoming 5G device is between $250 and $300. Do you think Samsung has the capacity to release $250 5G smartphones? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

GOOGLE PIXEL 5

GOOGLE PIXEL 5 SMARTPHONE WILL BE CHEAPER THAN ITS PREDECESSOR

This year, Google can choose two extraordinary advances: carry the Pixel 4a with an extremely appealing sticker price and surrender the lead personality in Pixel 5. This later will at that point show up at a sensible value, much lower than its ancestor.

An inquisitive study was found in the Google Opinion Rewards application. In it, clients are welcome to communicate their inclinations, which cell phone they might want to buy. Google Pixel for $349 or a top of the line gadget with a sticker price of $699. Among the distinctive highlights of the spending Pixel telephone are the plastic case and a 3.5 mm sound jack. Depicting another model, the maker demonstrated that it is a leader cell phone with water assurance and remote charging.

GOOGLE PIXEL 5 SMARTPHONE WILL BE CHEAPER THAN ITS PREDECESSOR

It's not hard to figure that the organization plans to sell Pixel 4a for $349, yet they can demand $699 for Pixel 5. Curiously, the new age of the lead Pixel can be estimated $100 lower than its antecedent. Review that for Google Pixel 4 toward the beginning of deals they requested $799.

As indicated by bits of gossip that recently showed up on the system, the need to diminish the expense would benefit from outside intervention by relinquishing the costly leader stage Snapdragon 865. Rather, Google may incline toward the less expensive choice – Snapdragon 765G. In spite of the fact that it is conceivable that the chip from the Qualcomm 700 arrangement will go to the Pixel 5. While the Pixel 5 XL will get the Snapdragon 865.

Furthermore, past spilled demonstrate that Google is wanting to end support for the Active Edge work, both in the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 cell phones. Many may know this capacity in past Pixel cell phones or HTC gadgets. The cell phone can be pressed to play out a capacity, for instance, to begin the collaborator or the camera rapidly. From my perspective, I need to state that, in spite of its quality, I never utilized this capacity. What's more, I even felt it to be unnecessary. In this way, I will likely not notice their supposed absence of the Pixel 4a or ensuing gadgets, for example, the Pixel 5. Yet, different clients can surely rate this in an unexpected way.

The inquiry that remaining parts is whether Google is exchanging the capacity. Toward the start of the year, it was supposed that Google additionally permits capacities to be done by tapping the rear of a pixel cell phone with Android 11. In any case, we will keep you refreshed on this respect.

As indicated by the reports, the screens of BOE are less expensive and the boards offer now high caliber. Notwithstanding Providing OLED boards to a wide range of organizations/gadgets, BOE appears to flexibly even the biggest board maker on the planet in 2021. Note that, in any case, not all provisions will originate from the BOE.

We realize that BOE nearby with Samsung Display will both give OLED screens to the iPhone 12 family that will come in September.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 COULD ARRIVE WITH CHEAPER CHINESE OLED DISPLAYS

What else do we think about the Samsung Galaxy S21 family? The models ought to have just the Snapdragon 875 processor toward the start of 2021. As you probably are aware, significant protests are going to the plan as far as utilizing Exynos processors in the organization's telephones.

Strangely, two models of the gadget are in plans. One of them ought to have OIS on the essential and zooming focal point, notwithstanding the selfie camera supporting the adjustment. The other model will probably have OIS on essential, fax and wide-edge focal points.

It must be noticed that Samsung was relied upon to remember a full scale focal point for its S20 arrangement. Be that as it may, that talk never observed the light of the day. With the most recent report, it appears Samsung is at last carrying the large scale focal point to its leaders which was before accessible just to the An arrangement. Be that as it may, we will keep you refreshed on this respect.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 family conveys Qualcomm-marked Snapdragon 865 processors in certain business sectors. In others, it accompanies the Exynos 990. In any case, there are execution contrasts between the two processors and individuals need this to end.

It merits referencing that as indicated by some ongoing reports, Samsung is wanting to put a 150MP sensor on its S21 arrangement. This attests the prior reports of Samsung taking a shot at Higher MP cameras. Further, Laser self-adjust is ought to likewise vanish. Auxillary sensors expected are a 64MP zooming focal point, a 16MP wide-edge, and a 12MP Macro focal point.

GOOGLE PIXEL 5

GOOGLE PIXEL 5 MIGHT ARRIVE WITH SNAPDRAGON 765 CHIPSET, REPORT SUGGESTS

Since the start of this current year, Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a has been making round on the web uncovering new data each time. Not long ago, we saw a report showing that Pixel 5 probably won't contend with other lead gadgets and rather may drop from the class inside and out. All things considered, it appears as though that may to be sure wind up occurring.

GOOGLE PIXEL 5 TO COME WITH SNAPDRAGON 765 SOC, HIDDEN CODE REVEALS

As indicated by rising proof, the up and coming Pixel 5 may wind up including a mid-run chipset potentially the Snapdragon 765 territory. This implies the gadget may be finished with 800-arrangement with the new contribution. It is important that this proof is originating from a senior XDA part who passes by the name cstart27.

The XDA part figured out how to discover the data from the spilled Google Camera 7.4 APK. According to the data, the "sunfish" model will include Snapdragon 730 while the staying two "redfin" and "thistle" will highlight SD 765 SoC. In case you're uninformed, the sunfish is a codename for Pixel 4a gadget while the staying two focuses to Pixel 5 and 5 XL individually.

Going to the chipset, the Pixel 5 may utilize any variety of Snapdragon 765 chipset. We're discussing SD 765, 765G and 768G. All these chipsets are very like each other with the fundamental distinction being in the CPU and GPU clock speeds.

On the off chance that the report is any obvious, at that point Pixel 5 may wind up pulling in more buyers thinking about how well the lineup acts as far as optics. The web crawler monster has just seen a decrease in deals with its past Pixel 4 lineup. Indeed, the gadget didn't advance toward all the significant markets since the utilization of the movement sensor was confined in different areas. All things considered, the fifth emphasis will drop the utilization of the movement sensor if the ongoing report is thought of.

With this new mid-run decision, Google will drop from the leader alliance rivaling the mid-extend contributions in the market.

Value, AVAILABILITY

In spite of the fact that there is no official estimating data from the organization, an ongoing hole has just uncovered what we can anticipate. It appears the Pixel 4a will show up with a $350 sticker price for the 128GB variation. This implies we may see $300 cost for the base 64GB stockpiling. Pixel 5, then again, may begin with a $700 sticker price. It merits referencing that Pixel 4 began with $800 cost during the official dispatch.
